Brethren Church National Office Updates
November 28, 2007

Pastors and Leaders,

A major role of the National Office is to maintain communication with our denomination. To keep all of our ministries up to date on what is going on in the Brethren Church, this “National Office Update” is a bi-weekly letter to inform pastors and leaders of the current events in our denomination.

It is our hope that by offering these updates, we will strengthen our communication as well as join together, so we may move forward in the mission of the Brethren Church. Please feel free to pass along this information to all of those in your church who are interested in staying up to date with the ministry of the Brethren Church.

Prayer Request for Nancy Hunn
Some of you are aware that Nancy underwent foot surgery just before Labor Day. The surgery was in part necessary due to an infection in the foot. The healing process has been a little hit and miss. Over the weekend the infection took off again, and she was hospitalized Monday night in Mansfield for another round of antibiotics and an MRI to determine whether or not the infection has spread. We know what is happening, but the why is quite unclear.
For some time I have felt that there are some spiritual issues in the balance here. At times I have been prompted specifically to pray for protection over her. At other times it seems perhaps that this has something to do with possibly hindering our ministry overall.
Would you be willing to commit to praying for Nancy (and me too!)? We’ll keep you updated as we know more. But for now it would be a blessing to know that you are speaking to the Father on our behalf. Bless you.

Ken Hunn

We would like to wish all of you and your families a very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving. May the LORD keep you all safe as you travel. May the Love and presence of our LORD shine through us all.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
Your BCNO Staff,

Kenn, Stan, Tony, Bill, Gary, Brenda & Jenn
