Making a donation to The Brethren Church online is easy, fast and secure. It’s easy because we take you step-by-step through the process. It’s fast because it takes just a few clicks of the mouse to complete your transaction. It’s secure because we use the resources of PayPal to process your donation. And you don’t have to have an account with PayPal to make your donation.

Using this page to make a donation allows you to be flexible with your gift giving efforts. You can use this service to make a one-time gift to The Brethren Church. This could be a gift for one of the areas suggested below or for supporting any one of the ministries described here on our website. You can also use this service to make regular donations. For example, if you are supporting an orphan in India, you can make your monthly payments by using this service.

After making a donation online, you will receive an email message from PayPal confirming your gift. This message will also be sent to us at the National Office. We will enter this information into our regular donor receipt program which will automatically print a letter confirming the receipt of your donation. The Brethren Home Mission Revolving Fund

The Brethren Home Mission Revolving Fund was created to plant new Brethren Churches and to help existing Brethren Churches grow. Money from this fund is available for low interest loans for various building programs of Brethren Churches.

We gratefully accept gifts to the Revolving Fund. Your tax-deductible gifts not only become available to help Brethren Churches, but they also reduce the cost of the loans issued to Brethren Church plant and existing churches for their building and expansion programs.

You can donate to the Revolving Fund through gifts, financial or estate planning, or through deferred gifts. If you’d like to know more, or receive our free information pamphlet, please call or Email Stan Gentle at the National Office (877-289-1708).

Annual Fund Campaign

Every year we encourage the Brethren to give a little extra through the Annual Fund. Gifts given through this campaign help us meet ministry needs we weren’t aware of during the budgeting process. This is an ongoing giving opportunity.

Support for Monthly Emphasis

Every month we feature two different ministries or programs of The Brethren Church. In March we are emphasizing India and the Hispanic Ministry of Miguel and Sonia Antunez. We do this in part by sending out a “gift coupon” with every letter of acknowledgment and thanks we mail out during the month. This coupon gives a brief description of the work being emphasized and an opportunity to make a donation. If you would like to make your donation online, just click on one of the buttons below. Make sure you let us know which work you are supporting by putting its name in the additional comment box that appears near the end of the PayPal session.

Donations to the General Fund

While it doesn’t seem to be very exciting or glamorous, there is always a need for donations to the General Fund. This could be for a specific ministry or missionary supported by The Brethren Church’s regular budget. Or it could just be for the general support of our budget. Your help here is always appreciated.

Tax Information

Your gift is tax deductible to the extent allowable by IRS rules and regulations. Generally your gift must be one given to be used by a ministry or program run under the direction of The Brethren Church. You should not have an expectation of receiving something tangible in return for your gift. Also, your gift can be for the support of an individual employed by The Brethren Church within the limits set by our budget. However, it cannot be a personal gift for that individual.

You will receive a letter of acknowledgment and thanks from our office shortly after we receive your gift. If the total of all donations made during a given year is $250.00 or more, you will receive another letter from us in January of the following year. This letter will be a summary of your giving and will acknowledge your gifts as being tax deductible.
