141 were present on Sunday, January 12 when 7 believers were baptized by trine immersion at the First Brethren Church in Pleasant Hill, Ohio. Pastor Lynn Mercer baptized 6 while Rev. Bill Eberly, an ordained elder in a Mennonite denomination, baptized his niece. Confirmation with the laying on of hands and prayer followed, then 4 new members were received. Pastor Lynn Mercer announced his resignation in October. January 26 is scheduled to be his last Sunday as pastor of the congregation.
