May 10-17, 2026:

68 student-athletes with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) spent the last week serving in Lancaster, South Carolina. The FCA mission trip is an annual opportunity led by athletics chaplains, Rev. Joe Maggelet, Austin Brenner, and Grace Miller. From leading youth camps and worship to helping with building projects and local outreach events, these students faithfully used their gifts to serve others at the start of their summer break. Several Brethren students attended this mission trip. Cameron Carr, a member at Smithville Brethren Church, created video content during the trip. May 16-23, 2026:

Twelve AU led by Rev. Amber LeMaster (The Well) and Nate Ediger (Newman) are currently in Lake Lure, North Carolina, serving residents that have faced difficulties after Hurricane Helene caused major flooding in 2024. The Office of Christian Ministry partnered with Praying Pelican Missions (PPM) to make this mission trip possible. The Well Campus Minister, Rev. Amber LeMaster, wrote a reflection stating, “I’m loving my time with these incredible Ashland University students. Not only are they dedicated scholars, they love Jesus and deeply desire to show big love to the world. It is such an honor to spend this time with them.”
