One of the greatest opportunities we have at Ashland University is to walk alongside students as they discover how God is at work in their lives. For AU students, faith is not pursued alone, but it is shaped through meaningful relationships, honest conversations, shared experiences, and a community that encourages them to grow into the people God is calling them to be.
Through the ministries of the Office of Christian Ministry (OCM), students have opportunities to deepen their faith both on campus and beyond. For many, getting connected with local Brethren congregations such as Five Stones Community Church and Park Street Brethren Church becomes an important part of that journey, providing places to worship, serve, and build lasting relationships.
This video offers a glimpse into how faith grows through community at Ashland University and the impact those connections can have on a student’s college experience. The students in this video are engaged in each of the ministries on campus. You are invited to keep Ashland University students in prayer as they continue to grow in faith this summer. Additionally, pray that the incoming class of students will make connections with local churches, especially our local Brethren Churches.
