Last month the church in Lima was finally able to hold its first in-person gathering on the church property! According to Pastor Luis, though only a handful attended, “it was a joy to be together again.” While the group maintained a distance and masked up, those who attended had hearts filled with thanksgiving and praise.

The return to gathering also marks a return of the ministry to Ticlio Chico. Recently, Pastor Luis and others traveled into the neighborhoods to meet with parents and children. They gathered for a time of worship, praise and teaching. The kids were incredibly excited to be together and listened intently to Pastor Luis as he read and taught. Pastor Luis and the church are working to provide a Christmas program for children in the area this year.

Mt. Olive Brethren Church

(Southeast Region) provided funds this year to purchase a small scooter for Pastor Luis. Luis uses this scooter as his primary work vehicle, allowing him to earn a living.
