For the third year in a row, Brethren in the Miami Valley of the North Central Region gathered at The Shelter in West Alexandria for Worship, Sharing, Fellowship, and a Picnic!

Brethren from Gratis Brethren Church, New Lebanon Brethren Church, Pleasant Hill, & West Alexandria congregations gathered on August 3. We also invited the Oak Street Brethren from West Alexandria, who were formerly part of the Church of the Brethren and are now an independent local church. A total of about 70 attended from the five congregations.

It was very encouraging to hear each congregation share a little bit about what God has been doing in the life of their local church. Dr. Carol Bland, Chair of the Camp Bethany Board, played a Camp Bethany highlight video and shared some highlights from this past Summer.

There was a water slide, a bouncy house, and many other activities for the children & others who were present.

All were blessed by our time together! Praise the Lord! It’s good for Brethren to get together!
