On Sunday, August 31, Pastor Lee Compson and the Milford First Brethren Church (Milford, IN) prayed over and gave their blessing to Duane and Lori Harman as they embraced a long-term service opportunity with Riverside Christian School.

Duane and Lori have a long history of taking summer work trips down to Lost Creek, Kentucky, and leading teams from our church to help with construction, flood relief, and whatever needs have arisen.

Earlier this year, the Harmans felt a special call by God to commit to something more substantial. Following conversations with the staff at Riverside, they decided to take the step of faith to temporarily move to Lost Creek for the duration of the school year.

Duane will be tackling major grounds and maintenance projects, while Lori will be filling a new resource coordinator position to better connect with students’ families and help with their needs.

Clearly, God has uniquely prepared and gifted the Harmans for this adventure, and He has already provided for them in unique ways. Please be in prayer that the Lord would use them in incredible ways as they take their camper, a semi-load of equipment, and their dog Jackson down to eastern Kentucky.
