Saying goodbye at the end of the Spring Semester is always hard to do. It is a joy to be able to reach out to students, build friendships, and talk about the hope that is in Jesus. Though seeing students graduate is difficult, summer and fall are full of possibilities like our Neighborhood Outreach Campfire.
We went door to door through our neighborhood and personally invited everyone to join us. This seemed to work better than just leaving an invitation and led to some good conversations. Additionally, we invited church people to join us, and it turned out to be a nice mix. We had a good turnout and a handful of first-time attendees. One of our first-time guests, who brought her family, joked that she had been stalking me online. She said she appreciated the preaching and finally decided to come check us out.
Students have already started trickling back into town, and freshman move-in is scheduled for August 22nd. Please pray for our freshman move-in and Fall Kickoff Barbecue on August 30th.

Prayer requests:
- Please pray for the Lord’s favor on Penn State and our ministry. I desire to see more people come to know the joy and peace that only Jesus can give.
- Please pray for our children as they continue to grow and mature.
- Please pray that the Lord will bless our fundraising efforts this summer and into the fall.
- Please pray that the Lord will raise up leaders for his kingdom and glory.
