New Pastoral Leaders Emerging in Argentina
Brethren Church
May 6, 2026

Exciting things are happening in the heart of South America! In the bustling city of Buenos Aires, the church is growing in a very special way. Under the steady leadership of Willy Ronanenghi and Guillermo Rojas, a new generation of pastors is stepping forward to serve, marking a pivotal turning point in the region’s long-term mission to build a sustainable, leader-led church.

The church in Argentina has faced its share of bumps in the road over the years. However, the leadership has stayed focused on what matters most: identifying and raising up new leaders. Instead of being discouraged by challenges, they are investing in people. This focus on the future is a powerful sign of a healthy, living church.

The resilience of the Argentinian leadership has paved the way for a joyous new chapter involving several local families. There is so much joy in the air as four new couples have officially started their journey into pastoral ministry. This isn’t just about filling positions; it’s about following God’s call to lead His people with love and dedication. While the celebration was big, the circle is even wider: one more couple is eager to join the process despite a recent schedule conflict, and two more are currently waiting for the “green light” from their elders and congregations to begin.

It is truly a season of praise for God’s goodness and the way He is providing for His church. This work in Argentina serves as a beautiful example of what happens when a community trusts God to provide. Because of these incredible developments, we have some very special news: Willy and Guillermo will be joining us at General Conference this summer!

They will be sharing firsthand accounts of what God is doing through the elders and leaders of the twenty-plus churches in their region. You won’t want to miss the chance to hear these stories of faith and courage.

Are you ready to be inspired? Come hear how God is moving across the globe and witness how resilience and faith are transforming Argentina. Register now for General Conference! Your presence and support help fuel the mission of raising up leaders across the globe. We can’t wait to see you in Fort Wayne!
