Sixty-five people from four Northeast Ohio Brethren churches attended the annual gathering and fellowship on Sunday evening, August 17. The event was hosted by Beacon of Hope Community Church of Louisville, Ohio, at nearby Metzger Park. Other attendees were from North Georgetown First Brethren Church and Radial and Trinity Brethren churches in Canton. The event was made possible by a grant from the North Central Region of The Brethren Church.

A delicious meal of chicken, potatoes, and side dishes and desserts was accompanied by music by Thatz Class. Following the meal, North Central Regional Leadership Team chair and author Sarah Well of Ashland shared an inspirational message on perseverance. Doug Shook of Beacon of Hope served as coordinator and as emcee for the evening.
