What started as a relief effort grew to become a church.
Over the past couple of years, Brethren leaders in Paraguay have been at work planting two new churches. Following the challenges presented by the CoVid 19 pandemic, the church there in Paraguay saw this as the perfect opportunity to be the church to the community and at the same time plant a church.
In the tiny community of Ypanee, the church worked to provide much-needed relief through the providing of food and basic supplies. Often times feeding over 800 people daily, what started as a relief effort grew to become a church. Similar efforts began in a near by community, which has lead to the building of churches, developing of disciples and planning for continued church plant opportunities as the Lord provides.
