On Sunday, November 17, Park Street Brethren Church (Ashland, OH) dedicated a newly renovated worship center. The building, which had prior been a multi-purpose gymnasium was renovated in the first phase of a $1.8M capital campaign for building improvements.
Congregants from Park Street, as well as neighboring Five Stones and Garber Brethren Churches, gathered to dedicate and celebrate the space. The new worship center features complete acoustic treatment, new flooring, seating, and worship technology. The campaign, which launched in March is nearing full funding, with a remaining $58,000 to reach the $1.8M goal. To date, over $700,000 has been received, and phase one (the worship center) was completed without any debt.
The next phases will include razing the existing sanctuary building, which was dedicated in the 1920’s, and improving the Christian Education wing of the building.
