Conrad Bicycle Unisex T-Shirt
Price range: $20.00 through $24.00
In 1732 Beissel established a semi-monastic community called the Camp of the Solitary, with a convent (the Sister House) and a monastery (the Brother House) at Ephrata, in what is now Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Celibacy was considered a virtue, but not obligatory. The Ephrata Cloister, while odd, provided an important mystic, spirit-led balance to the early Brethren, and Beissel himself created much of the creative expression of Brethren in the period, including poetry and song.
This shirt gives honor (and pokes a little fun) at Conrad Beissel. A conversation starter for sure!
