The Brethren Church is pleased to announce the hiring of Sara Moore as our Coordinator of Brethren Student Ministries. Sara will begin her work in this new role starting Monday, January 5, 2026.

Sara has served for the past sixteen years at the St. James Brethren Church in Fairplay, MD where she was the Director of Adult Discipleship and Worship Ministry as well as Director of Christian Education. She is the current Director of The Brethren Academy and a former Brethren Church Executive Board member serving from 2020 to 2025. Sara, her husband Brad, and their two children live in Pennsylvania in the Northeast Region.

In this new role, Sara is looking forward to devoting more time to Brethren Academy and to reconnecting with the Conference Planning Team and working with Engage Youth Conference. “My heart is for serving those in our local churches who are leading and loving our Brethren students.” Beginning January 5, you can reach Sara at sara@brethrenchurch.org.
