Brethren in Pucusana, Peru, were busy through the pandemic. Shifting from education and community building to delivering food and medical supplies, they provided hope for hundreds living in fear and despair.
As the pandemic wains, efforts are shifting back to community building. Engaging in helping kids throughout the region get a better education and assisting adults to become business owners through micro-enterprises.
Thanks to a generous donor’s gift of $1,300, The Brethren Church is providing 204 books for students in Pucusana as local children return to the classroom for the first time in almost two years. Additionally, Brethren Global Partners provided $1,000 to provide Christmas gifts for over 160 local children in Pucusana!
