“I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1: 3-6
Even though Global Partners Month is over, there is much to rejoice about. Because of your generosity and prayers, you helped raise over $30,000 to continue the kingdom work of the Brethren Church globally. What an impact and return on investment you are already having!
Your partners are making new disciples worldwide because of your prayer and kindness. I am often reminded of the parable of the seed as we think of the work Christ is calling our partners to. Some of the soil they work in is incredibly hard in places like Spain, where trust is hard-earned. Some areas are littered with rocks and boulders, like India, where the government continues to make telling the Gospel message harder and harder, placing regulations and rules in the way even while the Spirit continues to call forth his people from despair to hope! Some ground is baked and dried because others abused the people and stole what little they had. People looking for hope find it in Santiago, Chile, where refugees from Venezuela and Haiti flee with only a few belongings they can carry. Yet, in every place they go, they uncover good soil. Some must water hard and prepare with tenderness and love. Such work can be difficult and discouraging. However, your partners are encouraged daily because they know they are not alone. Your prayer for them is a song in their ears.
You should know that while you pray for them, your partners lift you daily in prayer, not just in thankfulness for your support, but also that you would see the field around you and be spurred to till and work to bring in the harvest. They are praying for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit not seen since the day of Pentecost.
We are grateful for your support, love, encouragement, and prayers. From nation to nation and across the continents, you make a difference.
