New Global Partner in South Africa
Meet Sandile Mkhwanazi and his wife, Abby. Sandile was the leader of Grace-Truth-Love Ministries in Durbin, South Africa. This ministry has a decade long history of working to establish new churches, with a focus on discipleship, poverty alleviation, racial reconciliation, mentoring, and church planting all in the name and power of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. They already had a deep connection with Ashland University, and the Isaiah Project had sent teams of young adults to work alongside Sandile and his team for many years.

At the fall meeting of The Brethren Church Executive Board, the members unanimously approved adding Sandile as a new Brethren Global Partner. One of the first things Sandile desires to do is work through the program to become a licensed and ordained Brethren elder. He will then lead his team and 6-10 pastors that he is mentoring in the same program. He has already started the process of formally changing the name from Grace-Truth-Love Ministries to The Brethren Church of South Africa.
This is exciting work to be sure, and more updates will come soon. You can welcome Sandile and Abby with an email at: sandile.mkhwanazi@gmail.com
