God continues to move among our Global Partners in South America!
Just this week in Soldini, Argentina, the church hosted over 300 youth at a worship and prayer gathering. What an incredible day dedicated to the Lord in song and spirit!
In Colombia, our partners are preparing to baptize a group of 33 young believers in the next month! On top of that, Pastor Willer Taborda has been asked to lead a coalition of churches, including several Catholic groups, to develop a unified spiritual focus for the community of Itagui. Even though ministry is still challenging in many aspects throughout the country, God is still making his presence known, and people of all ages are coming to faith in incredible stories of transformation!
In Paraguay, the church continues to grow! Pastor Juan Carlos Poletti sent a message that they are working with the local municipality of yet another neighborhood to plant a church. That increases Paraguay's total number of churches to six as of July 2022.
The church in Chile is remodeling to accommodate new worshipers as the ministry begins to find its footing after the pandemic. They have attracted even more young believers with a change to their worship style.
In Puerto Maldonado, the church is busy working to purchase either the property they are in or a new property on which to build. Mount Olive Brethren Church sent a team last month to help with fundraisers and develop relationships with many young families in the area. Another group is going to Lima to work in Ticlio Chico in September. They may still have some room if your church is interested in joining them. Contact Gail Heston or Pastor Fred Miller for more details.
These are just a few reports we have heard over the last few weeks, with many more stories of hope and transformation of lives coming daily! Keep our partners in South America in prayer as God continues to move throughout the region with love and grace for all!
