After the last few years, one of the things we all have learned is that people need to be together. Among the Brethren, this is especially true; I think we've all had enough web meetings, virtual gatherings (if that isn't an oxymoron, I don't know what is!), and social distancing to last a lifetime. This summer we're holding our General Conference in Boise, Idaho, and we hope you'll join us. Conference is our one time each year when we get together to learn, discuss, fellowship, pray, and worship together as one big family, and there truly is no substitute for being there. But we understand; sometimes, and for all different kinds of reasons, things just don't work out. Even if you aren't able to join us at Conference this summer, there are still ways to connect with what's going on.
Once again this year, the business sessions of Conference will be live-streamed. You can watch them as they happen. However, as in years past, delegates must be physically present to serve as delegates to Conference. We don't yet have all of the details yet on which platform we'll be using, but once we know, we'll be sure to pass that information on to you.
And like last year, we will be recording the plenary and worship sessions of Conference. They will be edited and available for viewing as soon as we can get them ready. When they go live, we will let everyone know in the weekly update email so stay tuned!
